Summit is a small congregation of around 80 members, 25 of whom attend the Sunday service. While many members are older, there are some young families. People wear what's comfortable for them. There is plenty of parking and the main entrance is the one with the canopy (where you may drop people off in bad weather or if they need assistance). Someone will greet you at the door. The worship space is to the right, and the restrooms are to the left. Visitors are always welcomed warmly. You are invited to contact us if you'd like more information before attending for a first time. Email the church with any questions or comments. E-Mail: click here to send us a message |

Holy Week Reflections As we journey through Holy Week I pray that we may encounter the depth of God’s love and desire for redemption over condemnation in a way that transforms our lives here on earth. Too often we focus on where we will be spending eternity, yet “now” is a part of eternity. God cares about our lives and all of creation in the here and now. Jeremiah 29:7 says, "But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." Jesus’ prayer of intercession, while nailed to the cross “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” demonstrates God’s desire for hearts to be transformed by God’s love and forgiveness that allow us to let go of past wrongs (both our own and the wrongs of others) and move into a new future with God. The world could use a good dose of being transformed by the wisdom, forgiveness and love, of God. We may not be able to change the world, but we can allow God to transform our lives in a way that we become vessels of God's transforming love in this world and making a difference where we can. May Holy Week be a true blessing for your life, and as you are blessed, may those blessings flow forth from your life so that others too may be blessed. God of Creation - may it be so! |
