There is plenty of parking and the main entrance is the one with the canopy (where you may drop people off in bad weather or if they need assistance). Someone will greet you at the door. The worship space is to the right, and the restrooms are to the left. Visitors are always welcomed warmly. You are invited to contact us if you'd like more information before attending for a first time. Email the church with any questions or comments. E-Mail: click here to send us a message |

Resurrection Life Ponderings “Jesus’s resurrection is the beginning of God’s new project not to snatch people away from earth to heaven but to colonize earth with the life of heaven. That, after all, is what the Lord’s Prayer is about.” — N.T. Wright Before we gathered around the Communion Table on Easter Sunday, we sang these words from the second verse of "Let Us Talents and Tongues Employ" "Christ is able to make us one. At the table he sets the tone, teaching people to live to bless, love in word and in deed express." On Easter we proclaimed loudly and joyfully that, "Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen, Indeed!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us this, " Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." -- May we allow that resurrection life to rise up in us, to fill our lives and guide them daily as we accept and embrace both the joys and challenges of being the disciples of the Anointed and Risen One of God. May we do more than talk the talk, may we truly walk the walk! May resurrection life broaden our vision. Too often our vision is narrow and we cannot see the whole beyond our own corner of the world, circumstances or perspectives. This April, the astronauts were granted the opportunity and perspective to see the earth not as divided by political and religious ideologies, countries, nations and states divided by borders, but as a whole. This new inspiration and perspective of encountering the whole, it reminded them and they reminded us, that we are not just individuals, or nations, or defined by ideologies or boundaries, but part of a collective whole. We are in this together. In seeing the whole, it gave them hope for the future. As we embrace the hope God has offered to us may we carry that hope whenever, to wherever and however God calls us. God of all creation expand our vision and that of world leaders from small and limited to the vastness of your vision. Reveal to us how and grant us the courage and strength to be guided guided by Divine wisdom so that we become vessels through whom earth is colonized with the blessings of heaven. Amen! |
